ExploreCR was created by two women from different parts of the world who each made the life-changing decision to relocate to Costa Rica on their own. We didn’t arrive with a blueprint. We didn’t have a perfect plan. What we had was courage, curiosity, and a willingness to learn — sometimes the hard way. That journey shaped everything ExploreCR is today.

OUR STORY

Relocating to another country is exciting — but it’s also emotional, overwhelming, and deeply personal. We know this because we lived it. We navigated unfamiliar systems, cultural differences, language barriers, and the quiet moments of uncertainty that don’t show up in travel blogs. We learned how Costa Rica truly works — not just in theory, but in real life. Along the way, people began coming to us with questions. Friends. Family. Strangers who were standing where we once stood.

Those conversations became guidance.

That guidance became trust.

And that trust became ExploreCR.
